In the midst of frantic lifestyles we all need trusting and lasting friends. One of the goals of our church is to provide friendship and fellowship in an atmosphere where all people can build genuine bonds of concern and love for one another. We seek to connect people to Jesus Christ by loving Him through worship, loving each other through fellowship, loving the word of God through disclipleship, and loving those in need through ministry.

The Joliet Seventh-day Adventist Church was established on June 3, 1911 with 11 members. In 1912, the church rented the First Presbyterian Church of Joliet located at Richmond and Prairie. Later the church bought the building.

In 1968 the present 3 room building and gymnasium was built. The church members worshiped in the school gymnasium for almost 19 years. The ground breaking for our current beautiful sanctuary was held on June 1, 1986. Since our first service on March 28, 1987 we have worshiped and prospered in this lovely facility.

With a current membership of nearly 150, the church is still sharing the gospel with those in need. Our church is a place where individual and families can worship, serve, fellowship and grow together as we anticipate the soon second coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
